Earlier on in the season our very own Peter Brickle was tasked with helping the Houghton Sports Centre to try and sell the bowls that have been left in the lockers over the last couple of years.
To his credit our very own “Arthur Daly” managed to sell the majority of the stock and in doing so raised £420 which was donated to the Heel & Toe Children’s Charity.
The money ensures the continuation of free therapy and support to children with physical disabilities across the North East.
As a thankyou Peter was presented with a food basket from Amanda & the staff
Well done Peter and thank you to everyone who bought a set of bowls.
